Today is the last day for regular classes.  We take finals next week and after that its FUN in the SUN!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope I do well and make that 3.0 GPA.

In my opinion is Flash web pages.  I say this b/c those are the most media rich and visually stunning pages.  I think based on cool factor alone many people would prefer flash sites.

New Experinces

This Saturday i went to a rap show in Picayune.  It was pretty crazy, we saw Chopper and a bunch of local guys doing their thing.  I also saw booty booty booty rockin every where that night.  ;)   

So what i've learned, rap shows = crazy party w/ a stage.  

It was a good night, no fights and everyone had fun.

This was a children's program that suposedly got banned. Probably b/c it gave kids nightmares. Gotta love claymation though, its good art.

Live action role-playing or LARPing as its called, is where a bunch of guys take D&D to the next level.  People make up a charecter, dress like that charecter and run around in the woods playing a pretend game with various senerios.  This is pretty odd yes but hey some people i know are doing it and I might join in.  I have such a beast of a charecter in my mind im sure i'll win, if u can win that is.  So with little knowledge of this i'm gonna give it a shot....  This will be my first and most likely my last, because the Great Eviscerus follows no rules!!!!!!!!!

Good News

My grandmother may be leaving the hospital soon, she has to get special rehabilitational therapy and daialysis.  She might go to Picayune or Hattiesburg for the rehab place.  Either place she goes will be a lot closer than N.O. 

Hopfully this weekend will be fun and not boring, don't have any plans but then again i don't need em.

FL Studio

So i've been getting into FL Studio 8, and its getting addictive.  If you don't know about fruity loops yet let me show you a lil vid about it.

 I have been messing around with it for the past couple of week and although im still learning, im comming up with some cool sounds.  I might have something to show in the near future.  Till then i keep on keeping on.

On Easter Sunday I visited my grandmother in the hospital.  She seems to be doing a lot better, the heart can really mess you up when its not working the right way.  She's gonna have to have therapy and dialysis now.  And I'm not sure what the doctors are gonna do about the leaking heart valve.  But i do know she looked so much better, which is good b/c i was really starting to lose hope.

Also i watched 2 movies this weekend Max Payne and Miorrors.

Max Payne was kinda mediocre, i guess its just a generic cop story more or less.  Ok to watch if ya got time to kill.  Can't reall recomend it though.

Mirrors was a pretty good scary movie, the mirrored camera angles allowed from some pretty intresting and gory special effect and had a pretty unique story to it.  I'd recomend it if you like scary movies.

Sitting Back Watching time pass by

In the small slow paced world of Poplarville, MS we are aloud to have pleanty of days of rest.  I looked this up in the town charter lol.  So im gonna take that up today. 

Later today it looks like im going to MSGCCC in Perk today for a confrence about web development.  It should be informative and hopfully intresting.

The Show Report!!!!!!!!! +Band Vids

Well the show this weekend was nothing short of amazing the set started with ABACABB getting the crowd worked up with their technical deathcore sound.  They did a great job but as with most opening bands the crowd wasn't quite ready.         

The next band on the lineup was The Ghost Inside, a personal favorite of mine.  They are a hardcore influenced metalcore band, with very melodic guitars and heavy breakdowns and positive uplifting lyrics.

     

It was so intense I stayed right up front and got the mic a lot during their set.

All Shall Perish was the next band on the list, another favorite of mine.  They are deathcore band with an amazing vocalist who has great range and shredding guitars.

 

After that was the band Terror, a hardcore institution for over 10 years.  And everyone Went crazy for them.  The entire room was turned into a hardcore pit, and the band kept demanding everyone to get on stage and jump off.

By time my body was feeling every song that the bands had played.  I was in need of some rest but 2 bands still remained, Winds of Plague and Emmure!

As soon as school is out I'm gonna head towards New Orleans and visit with my grandmother at the hospital until about 6 and then head just down the road to the venue.  It will be a great time.

Spring break was good and bad.

Well I made my visit to Lafayette like I had been planning on doing and I had a great time.  My girlfriend, as well as her dog, were very happy to see me.  We visited a friend of mine in Baton Rouge, and the three of us went to as show at the Highground.  We saw The Number 12 Looks Like You and it was a fun and very strange show.  The Number 12's singer had a long sword which he called "the pussy sword" and demanded every guy take their shirt off and come touch the sword. Yea it was odd but all in fun.

This Friday is the big Winds of plague/Emmure show with the awesome lineup, but idk if i'll be able to make b/c my grandmother was airlifted from Gulfport Hospital (where she as been for the past couple of weeks w/ conjestive heart failure) to Ocshner's in New Orleans b/c Gulfport had done all they can do.  She may have to get a heart transplant.  It looks really bad right now.

I can just hope for the best right now. 

Siting in Class Watching Seconds Pass

I'm So ready to just get out of this building, drive down the road to the house so i can pack, and then leave Poplarville in my dust.  Like Solidtary confinement this place can really get to ya.  And as of right now im longing for the road, for the escape, for the land where dreams come true.  

Just a lil bit longer now and I'll be on my way to Lafayette, its a pretty nice place and has whatever ya want there. 

Spring Break is on the way

It should be a good time, I know I needs me a break from the school work.

And some R&R in the shade, better yet make that the sun b/c it still is cool outside.

Anyways i plan on leaving Friday after school and going to Lafayette.  Not so anxious about the drive but it'll be ok.  The 3 hours in the car kinda make me a little tense but when i get there that will start to subside.

Not much goings on in Poplarville, as usual, but i'll keep ya posted.

Stuck in a rut one min

Idk how things are going with everyone, but i've been having a tough time.

Sometimes i just shut myself in the house and become a hermit.

Mabybe bc its easier to just ignore everything untill you have to face it.

Either way its my mode.

And its so easy to do.

I could just be lazy, but theres too much shame in that.

Give me somthing worth doing to me, and i'll show you how un-lazy I am.

That is a task that is easier said than done.

Seems like its been awhile

With the mardi gras and a few crazy days, it just seems like i haven't blogged in a long time.

Anyways my holiday was pretty good.  We were stuck in traffic on our way to New Orleans so we missed the 3-6 mafia show.  We partied instead and had a good time so it wasn't that bad.  And Lafayette's Mardi Gras was pretty jumpin so my girlfriend and I had a blast at that.  Sience i've been back its been basically back to normal.  

I do have a movie recomendation, I watched Zack and Miri Make a Porno.  This movie is mad funny, it had me rollin wit laughs throughout the whole movie.  Seth Rogen is currently my favorite actor and Jason Mews is always a riot, throw in the fact that the movie is directed by Kevin Smith and its sound just a golden as it truely is. 4 1/2*s

Idk what it was i just couldn't get up, night before maybe.

anyways all is good.

Im sooooooooooooooo excited for the comming weekend.  I get too see my buddies in Baton Rogue, my GirlFriend in Lafayette,  3-6 Mafia (best Rap group Ever) in NewOrleans.  And the whole time I'll be partying it up for the Mardi Gras.

Oh yea it'll be a good time for all.

Oh yea thats right I did say I was seeing 3-6 Mafia this Friday 9PM @ the Hanger in New Orleans its gonna be nutz, i've never been to a rap show but i know its gonna be wild!

My weekend was pretty good, i did the usual hanging out with ppl.  Then Sunday I drove down with a friend to Bay St. Louis for the Nereids parade.  We had a good time we got there kinda late so we didn't get to tailgate.  We mostly just walked around and chilled with a few ppl we saw.  I enjoied myself.

Google Chrome, its not that shiny

Actually its not that bad. The address bar works as a search engine too. In the options you are able to select your preferred search engine with google defaulted of course. 

The home page displays several windows containing your most visited web pages. It also features an incognito mode that can stop recording the browser history and disallow cookies.

The design is similar to Mozilla tabs with a pretty featureless menu bar. I was kinda expecting a lil more from google but Chrome is amusing.

I think now I'm gonna spend some time playing around with the browsers i have available, However writhing this blog has been a little hard b/c it doesn't seem to be using a word wrap.

Weekend Report

Well Nothing much to blog about on this nice Monday morning except my weekend.
It was a pretty good one, i just hung out with some people Friday and had a good old time flapping gum's and what not.

Saturday did basically the same thing until the night befell upon us. That's when the fun loving group i was with decided to we should go out. At first i thought we were going to Bourbon St. but instead took a trip to Harrisburg and went to the Hunting Club.

This was my first time there and it wasn't that bad. I mean if you really wanna dance that's the place to be. The dance floor was pretty jumping and the music was really pumping. I do think Bourbon would've been a better time though. But really the only thing I didn't like was the $15 cover charge.

Getting Excited

Oh yes oh yes Mardi Gras is right around the corner and this year its gonna be so tight. I'll be heading over to Lafayette, LA to kick it with my girlfriend and party it up. Idk if we're going to take a trip to New Orleans or not though b/c Lafayette has a pretty big mardi gras celebration too. But, either way its gonna be a blast. I can't wait!

It's soo cold

Wow a cold front moved in last night and its taking a toll on me. I'm just getting over a touch of a cold too. The below 20 windchill is sure to add a day or so to my recovery time, and even if it it doesn't give me the sniffles it is making me long for a warm bed.

Man i really need to get off the bad weather topic, a rainy Monday, a cold Wednesday i guess when one has nothing to talk about he turns to the weather. Its always there and its sometimes fair.

Blue Monday

Not a really a sad day or anything, b/c my weekend though uneventful, was pretty chill.
I went to a lil bonfire out in the country and just kicked it wit some cool ppl. Saturday i got a hair cut, which was well overdue. What i got now is kinda like a mullet but not like 1984 Roadhouse mullet like a modern one.

But it is a pretty rotten looking day outside. I guess it makes sense, we have really awesome sunny days on weekends and dark rainy make ya wanna sleep-in days during the week.

Well that's just great now i spent all that time trying to figure out how to straighten my hair just for it to get wet and frizz up.

Ready for weekenjoyment

Well its Friday folks and I'm sure I'm not the only one ready for a fun weekend. I think I'm going out Saturday night, to Hattiesburg with some friends. I hope we have a good time and stay drama free.

Other than that not much has happened (not much does in this town). But some really good bands are coming to the Highground in February, and a really awesome band lineup is coming in March. It could be the best show I've seen to date.

Last night I got on my skateboard for the first time in months, it felt a little awkward but the feel is still there. Its been a good amount of time since the cops started cracking down on skaters. So it probably won't be too long till I hit up a serious session.

Time 4 Blog 2

Well its that time again and I'm sry to say that not much has happened since the last post. That's what happens when you live in a small redneck town like Poplarville, MS. I've just been taking it easy and hanging out with friends for the last couple of days.

Things are just slow on our side of the world i guess. Life is still about having a good time, and i look forward to the good times ahead.

1st Post

Greetings all!
I am starting this blog for my client-side programming class.
The class meets 3 days a week (MWF) and for each class day i will have to make a post.
Now that's basically all the guidelines our instructor gave us, so the content of this blog will be pretty random (note the name).
I'll go ahead and let you know a little about my intrests so you can decide is i am intresting or not.

I enjoy going to underground metal shows (Metarie is home to a really rad venue called the highground check that out if you get a chance), I love watching movies (im big on martin scorsese style dramas and anything thought prevoking and unique), and doing anything with music (from listening to making it i love it all).
